Magical, peaceful and absolutely beautiful. This place, up in the mountains is so impressive and romantic, I do recommend everyone to visit. It’s a nice long walk up to the castle, with an awesome view.
I even heard that this castle was the inspiration for the Walt Disney castle you see in their logo and in Disneyland/world parks. 
Me and my Boyfriend actually had a small fight on our way to this castle believe it or not. It wasn’t very easy finding the way to Fussen, we missed a train, almost took the wrong train so we missed yet another one… he even forgot his interrail pass ticket so we had to go back to the hotel and yes… we missed yet another train, so we almost missed the last tour of the day. Luckily we didn’t, he was so mad at himself that I got mad at him for not trying to accept his failures and go on and enjoy the trip cause honestly it’s a fun memory we will keep forever, no need to blame yourself the whole day right? Things happen and that’s just life.
